Based in Icod de los Vinos in the north of Tenerife, my home portrait studio offers a relaxed and creative environment for people looking for something more personal than a conventional studio portrait.

My approach to portrait photography has always been about creating images that feel authentic, individual and visually distinctive. I’m not interested in producing generic, formulaic portraits where every person is photographed in exactly the same way. Every shoot is approached individually, taking into account the person, their character and what they want from the photographs, while retaining the photographic style that defines my work.

I work with professional full-frame camera equipment and studio lighting, combining more than 20 years of photographic experience with extensive experience in professional post-production and retouching, including Adobe Photoshop. The aim is to produce carefully finished, professional photographs while keeping the images natural and believable.

A Relaxed Approach

Being photographed doesn't need to feel formal or uncomfortable. Sessions take place in a friendly, relaxed environment, with time to experiment and develop ideas throughout the shoot.

Depending on what you're looking for, we can explore different approaches to lighting and portraiture, from clean, bright high-key images through to darker, more atmospheric low-key portraits, as well as more creative or character-driven ideas.

You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. We can discuss ideas beforehand and develop an approach that suits you while remaining consistent with my own photographic style.

Professional Prints

As well as supplying professionally edited digital images, I can produce high-quality photographic prints on-site up to A3 size, giving you the option of having selected portraits professionally printed as finished physical photographs.

For larger-format prints, I work with trusted professional print studios and can arrange these on your behalf, allowing photographs to be produced at considerably larger sizes where required.

Print requirements, paper choices, sizes and costs can all be discussed as part of your session.

Sessions & Pricing

I don't offer a single fixed portrait package because every shoot is different.

Pricing is based on what you actually require, including the length of the session, the number and type of photographs required, the different looks or lighting styles you'd like to explore, the level of post-production involved and whether you would like physical prints in addition to your digital images.

Before booking, we'll discuss what you're looking for and I can provide a clear price based on the shoot you want to create.
